I have lived in birkenhead my whole life and attended a girls school from nursery up to year 12 which I am currently in at West Kirby Grammar School, I enjoy reading and helping others, I enjoy setting up and doing crafts, I have done Food tech at School and also worked at a kitchen in a restaurant in Oxton so I definantly enjoy coming up with recipes and tailoring it to specific people. I enjoy working with SEN children as I also have autism and can understand the sensory difficulties such as food texture or bright lights, as well as the emotional regulation difficulties. I understand the strict need for routine when looking after a SEN child, and am more than happy to accommodate, if a routine is needed (bedtime, stories, etc.) I would ask for it in detail to ensure everyone is happy. If I work with your child helpful things to know would be what they like to do, what their favourite book is and their favourite food is so I can tailor the evening to their likes as I know meeting a stranger is hard at first!
