I am a caring, reliable and hardworking childcare professional with around 8 years of experience working with children from infancy through to primary school age. My background includes working as a Nursery Practitioner, Teaching Assistant and SEN support worker, which has given me strong experience supporting children’s emotional wellbeing, development, routines and learning in both educational and care settings.
I am Level 3 qualified in Early Years and trained in First Aid and Safeguarding. I am naturally patient, calm and nurturing, and I genuinely enjoy building positive relationships with children and supporting their confidence and independence. I have experience caring for multiple children at once, maintaining structured routines, supporting play-based learning and providing tailored support for children with additional needs.
I would describe myself as trustworthy, organised and approachable, with a warm personality and strong communication skills. I work well independently and always aim to create a safe, happy and caring environment where children feel secure and valued.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going on walks, travelling and activities that support wellbeing and creativity. I take pride in being dependable, respectful and fully committed to any role I take on.
I have around 8 years of childcare experience, mainly working in nursery and primary school settings with children from infancy through to early primary age. I worked as a Nursery Practitioner for 5 years, where I cared for babies and young children daily, supporting feeding, nappy changing, sleep routines, play-based learning, emotional wellbeing, and maintaining safe, structured routines. During this role, I was also promoted to room leader and trusted with overseeing observations and reports for children’s development.
I currently work as a Teaching Assistant in both Foundation Stage and SEN support roles, where I support children with their learning, emotional regulation, routines, and overall wellbeing. Working closely with children who require additional support has strengthened my patience, attentiveness, and ability to provide calm, nurturing care tailored to each child’s individual needs.
I am Level 2 and Level 3 qualified in Early Years and trained in First Aid and Safeguarding, and I also have some experience using Makaton within school settings. I genuinely enjoy building strong relationships with children and supporting their development in a caring and positive environment.
