Claire S.
I'm Claire, a 27-year-old Medical student from the University of Liverpool. I have an outgoing personality and a strong ambition to succeed, and I am enthusiastic and hard-working. In order to utilise my time efficiently and further my experience in child care, I am looking for a caring and entertaining nanny job in Liverpool. Insightfully, I have eight years of child care experience because I've been babysitting since I was 16. Also, I come from a family with three siblings, which makes me quite comfortable when interacting with children. I love how simple and delightfully honest children are, really appreciating their perspective and approach towards life’s simpler things. My availability spans across all the days of the week, mornings, afternoons, and evenings; therefore, I can start immediately and adapt according to the needs of your family. I am very versatile with the duties I can perform, ranging from helping with homework and cooking to light housekeeping and running errands. I can also assist in pet care, laundry, and event planning. Furthermore, I bring to the table my ability to care for children with disabilities. Having experience working with children of varying ages from 1 to over 10 years, I am well capable of taking care of up to three children at a time. I have had training in First Aid and CPR, along with a solid educational background that includes a Bachelor's Degree. Optimally looking for full-time or part-time work, I am open to different job roles. Whether you need an Early Childhood Educator, Nanny/Housekeeper, Virtual Babysitter, Nanny/Tutor, Mother's Helper, or Special Needs Nanny, I can be of service. I look forward to providing a safe, nurturing environment for your children, while also making sure your household runs smoothly. I aim to put my skills and experience to good use, as well as continue to learn and grow in my role as your nanny.
Nanny with KoruKids - January 2020 to March 2020 This year I worked for a family of three girls aged: 11, 9 and 5. I nannied for them up until I had to move home for isolation. I got a great recommendation as we always had a great time whilst always staying productive! Im excited to find a new family to share my child care and creative skills with. Camp Kennybrook (73 Camp Rd, Monticello, NY 12701, USA) - June 2018 to August 2018 Last summer, I spent 3 months working at Camp Kennybrook as a Camp Counsellor for a bunk of 11 girls, aged 6-9. I provided 24 hour supervision, which helped me to think on my feet in distressing situations the girls would experience. From home sickness to disagreements within friendship groups. But I love working with kids so this job felt very wholesome and rewarding! Moreover, for this job I had first aid training at certificate level and a CRS check. Maplewell Hall School (Maplewell Rd, Woodhouse Eaves, Loughborough LE12 8QY) – May 2017 I also spent 2 weeks of work experience at Maplewell Hall School, which is a special school for pupils with MLD & ASD. My role was as an assistant teacher in a Year 7 class of 11-12 year olds. This was a great experience and gave me in sight into the unique needs of children with special needs. I love working with kids! It was a great opportunity to get work experience with this particular age group. In addition, I have baby sat for neighbours since the age of 16, I would regularly get asked to babysit families as children usually take a likely to my fun and bubbly side!
