My name is Jodie, a passionate and experienced babysitter who has been in the business for about 7 years. I am an enthusiastic individual who holds a diverse range of interests and skills. Some of the things I enjoy doing include going to the gym, cooking healthy plant-based meals, walking dogs, reading, and socializing with friends and family. When I'm not indulged in these, I love to travel and take time to enjoy holidays. My varied hobbies have seen me acquire a number of qualifications. I am certified Carbon literate, trained in first aid, health and safety level 2, food hygiene level 2, handling medication procedures, safeguarding, equality & diversity, and moving & handling. Also, I’m somewhat a musician, holding Grade 3 clarinet & violin. Additionally, I have computer proficiency that extends to Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. My schedule is flexible as I am currently available for work immediately. Generally, I am available to work from the middle of the day into the evening throughout weekdays, also extending to nights during the weekends. I am open to both babysitting or providing home daycare services. I desire a part-time, live-out position that allows me to provide the best quality care for your children. I am capable of performing a multitude of duties including bathing and dressing children, helping with homework, adhering to special dietary rules, light housekeeping tasks and cooking amongst others. My experience is diverse, having worked with children of all ages- from newborns to those over 10 years old. I have a maximum capacity of caring for three children concurrently. Additionally, my training in First Aid and CPR, coupled with my completion of high school, equips me to ensure the utmost safety and wellbeing of your children. Furthermore, I hold a full UK driving license which enables me to run errands, do grocery shopping and transport children as required. I have had lots of previous experience working / caring for young children - my Mum was a Childminder for 13 years, so I have grown up around early years education / care. I currently am a ‘ Support worker / Home helper ‘ for the elderly, so caring for vulnerable children and adults comes naturally for me. I have done work experience coaching a local girls football team, and have had many days out with the children my mum looked after!
