Sarah B.
I’m a dedicated and experienced caregiver with a strong background in supporting children and young people. I hold an up-to-date DBS check and first aid certification, giving families confidence in the safety and care I provide. I believe in helping children develop key values such as kindness, respect, responsibility, and confidence. Whether it’s through play, conversation, or everyday routines, I aim to be a positive role model and create an environment where children feel encouraged to express themselves, try new things, and grow into caring individuals. I’m passionate about creating meaningful connections with the children I care for and supporting families in any way I can.
I currently work in a college setting, supporting learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This role has deepened my understanding of how to adapt care and communication to suit each individual child’s needs and learning style. I’m patient, empathetic, and committed to making children feel safe, understood, and supported. I’ve played a key role in raising my two stepsons, who are now independent young men. And at home, I’m a proud parent to two daughters aged 11 and 4. My parenting journey has given me hands-on experience across a wide age range, and I truly understand the importance of nurturing children as they grow.
