Sam T.
Hello there! My name is Sam and I'm from Mole Valley. I possess twelve years of experience in the childcare industry and am extremely passionate about providing exceptional care for children. I'm familiar with the chaos and tantrums that can occur with newborns to five-year-old’s. Taking care of two children simultaneously is a breeze for me, whether guiding them through homework, teaching life skills, or simply ensuring they're well-fed and clean. In addition to childcare, I am proficient in maintaining order at home, including light housekeeping, running errands, grocery shopping, laundry, and even pet care. I believe children should be raised in a nurturing and tidy environment, and I am more than capable of ensuring this happens. I am fortunate to be able to offer my services almost immediately, on either a part-time or full-time basis. My flexible schedule allows me to be available during the mornings and midday from Monday to Friday, making it convenient for parents with varying schedules. Furthermore, I hold qualifications such as an Early Childcare Assistant Diploma. I'm also trained in First Aid and CPR, which helps ensure your child's safety is always my top priority. Given my extensive experience and skills, I am confident that my role as a nanny-housekeeper will contribute positively to your household. I believe in playing an active role in a child’s development, while also providing a warm and stable environment. I am excited about transferring my passion for children and my experience to a new home. Thank you for considering me as your new Nanny or Nanny/Housekeeper!
I am currently working in a nursery, which is attached to a school as a Nursery Practitioner. My aim is to help create a nurturing and stimulating environment which is rich with activities and high quality care. Throughout my day I support the children with dance, swimming lessons and Forest School. As well as this, we participate in child and adult led activities ranging from maths to cooking. I am a key person to five children at a time and write biyearly reports where I monitor the children’s communication and language, physical development and social and emotional development. I previously worked as a room leader at Perfect Start Day Nursery where I was based in the younger babies room. During the course of the day the babies were cared for in a happy and stimulating environment. Activities were planned throughout the day, including reading books, painting, music and singing. Outdoor play was also an essential part of the day. The babies explored the garden while being able to interact with older children too. In the garden there were a variety of objects to support physical development, such as balls, bicycles, sand and water play. As room leader my duties included filing paperwork, planning the day’s activities and ensuring the room was ran both efficiently and lovingly. Prior to Perfect Start Nursery, I worked at West End Playgroup. During my time there I participated in Forest School and supported the children with their learning through the EYFS.
