The final rate may vary depending on several key factors: 👶 Number of children: Looking after more than one child usually increases the hourly rate. 🧹 Duties and responsibilities: Tasks such as cooking, light cleaning, homework help, or school drop-offs may affect the cost. 🎓 Experience and qualifications: Sitters or nannies with professional childcare training or years of experience often charge more. 💡 Type of care required: Infant care, overnight stays, or special needs support can also increase rates. By understanding these factors, you can ensure that the amount you pay is fair, competitive, and aligned with the market in Leeds. I began my childcare career since leaving school to work for Bradford Council. I worked for the first 10 years as a Playgroup Worker, and during this time, gained the relevant qualifications to become a qualified Nursery Nurse, before becoming re-deployed due to end of funding. Still as a Bradford Council employer, I was sent on a number of placements, the first being to work in a Family Centre as a Trainee Community Resource Worker. I then went on placement to a Sure start Children's Centre, before applying for a post for a Bilingual Outreach Worker. For my hobbies and Interests I enjoy looking after children, cooking, cleaning and gardening, and also some outdoor activities like walking and playing with the children in the garden. I used to enjoy outdoor/indoor sports like badminton, netball, rounders etc. I also like to do D. I. Y. I love to paint and draw too. I used to draw Muriel’s and pictures representing children’s favourite characters from nursery rhymes and different types of animals etc. Other information. I am a married mother to three children of 18, 14 and a 6 year old. I had a career break for the first time in 20 years back in May 2009. The reason being was that I had moved down to London to join my husband’s side of the family and wanted to start a new life. I did plan to look for another job career but then went on to have another baby. He was born in May 2010, and I decided to be a stay at home mum, until I felt ready to go back to work. We moved back down to Bradford due to some change of circumstances, and felt ready to look for some part-time work to keep me busy once again. My first role back into working was February 2014 as a driver to escorting two young girls to school and back. I also volunteered in Children's Centre in November 2014 to January 2015. In January I also became a full time housekeeping to the same family, until July 2015, as the family emigrated abroad. I am now caring for a family member up to the present day. Daily chores include, cooking, cleaning and organising the whole household and taking care of their personal care and medical appointments. I see myself as a committed person, and have a record to stay within a job until the end. I am very passionate in the kind of work I do, and try my best to please others. I am a versatile kind of person and likes to try my hand at anything. An honest, hard working person, and can use my own initiate to make myself a better person for the job. I don't mind a new challenge every now and then, as having worked with children, I have been offered a variety of different roles by my managers, as they have known I have been able to get on with things, and not having to seek their guidance at all times. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with children, parents and work colleagues, and have missed not being in employment, since leaving, therefore would like the opportunity to offer my services once again. As nearly all my three children are in full time education I’m looking forward to returning to work, meaning I will have more time to juggle with my new work and home arrangements. As a previous employer, I had developed lots of new skills to care for young children, for example, communicating, planning and organising, and was able to use my skills at home with my family. I have always been motivated, and was able to work well as part of a team. I have a caring personality with some excellent work experience gained from my past experiences. I’m now looking for a similar position within the Bradford Council and would like to achieve and gain different skills further. Hobbies and Interests I enjoy looking after children, cooking, cleaning and gardening, and also some outdoor activities like walking and playing with the children in the garden. I did plan to look for another job career but then became pregnant with my third child in August 2009. He was born in May 2010, and then I made up my mind to be a full time mum for a change as I had not done so with my two previous children. In January 2012, we decided to move back down to Bradford due to some change of circumstances and I have taken up small nanny jobs,   whatever my client's needs are, I will meet. I am a very practical person who's willing to take on daily household tasks like cooking, cleaning and organising the whole household as I take care of my own financial side of the paperwork including managing the bills, medical appointments and sorting out other things on a day to day basis. Hello! My name is Heather . I am 18 the youngest of 5 siblings. I’ve just finished my college years and I am looking for part time work during the summer. I am a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for connecting with people and making a positive impact. I thrive on new experiences and challenges, always eager to expand my knowledge and skills. Throughout my teenage years and my current job, I have developed strong communication and interpersonal skills that enable me to connect with others on a deep level. I am a reliable and responsible individual, committed to providing exceptional care and support to those around me. With a warm and friendly demeanor, I strive to create a comfortable and enjoyable environment for everyone I interact with. I believe in the power of kindness, empathy, and teamwork, and I look forward to bringing these qualities to any opportunity that comes my way. In my free time, I enjoy indulging in various hobbies that bring me joy and relaxation. Music has always held a special place in my heart, and I find solace in listening to different genres and exploring new artists. Reading is another passion of mine, as it allows me to escape into different worlds and expand my knowledge. Additionally, I have a deep appreciation for movies. These hobbies provide a wonderful balance to my life. I like to think and have been told I’m a responsible, and engaging person who’s also reliable and attentive. Although my babysitting experience has been mainly limited to friends and family, I firmly believe that the skills and knowledge I've gained from those experiences can be successfully applied to other families as well. The bond I've developed with the children close to me has taught me the importance of patience and creating a nurturing environment. With my adaptable nature and genuine love for children, I am confident in my ability to provide excellent care and create a positive connection with any child I babysit. Trust in my dedication and passion to make your child's experience safe, enjoyable, and memorable. The amount of years I’ve put is how long I’ve properly looked after younger children and babies but I have been around children and looked after them all my life

I am a student at Leeds Beckett University training to become a teacher and make a difference eventually to a child's life. I live at home with my fiance, dog, cat and hamster. I love children and would love my own one day but right now I am happy to love and spend time with children but give them back to their parents/ carers at the end of the day and not have the full time responsibility of actually having my own right now. I am a trustworthy, enthusiastic individual, who is efficient and committed to the work I do. I am a real people's person. I have a passion for working with children particularly those with additional needs and I aspire to make a difference to children's lives. My passion for working with children came from when I left the military and wanted to go down a completely new path and make a positive impact on the future generation and to just put a smile on their faces. At university I am training to become a teacher.

Hi there, I’m Amy! I’m 20 years old and a student at Leeds Arts University. I am a very creative person, I love art and music as well as reading and being active. I have a big imagination which helps when caring for children! I love to work with kids as they’re so much fun and I can communicate with them efficiently and help them with big emotions, I think childcare is a great way for me to save money for my future whilst thoroughly enjoying my job. I have experience in caring for children aged 3-11 but am very keen to gain experience with younger children below age 3. I hope you can consider me for your childcare needs! I have worked in schools in Summer holiday clubs as an Activity Leader, caring for children aged 4-11 on a daily basis and providing meals and activities for them. I also was a part time nanny for a family in Leeds whilst they needed help in the home for a few weeks, this involved after school care for 2 children aged 5 and 3, giving them meals, doing homework and reading, bathtime and putting them to bed.

Hey, im Hadiyah and i’m 15 . Yeah yeah i know it sounds young but i promise i can be one of the most reliable and trustworthy people you meet . I adore children and can’t wait to have my own one day . Im an excellent communicator and i’m highly organised. I can help with homework and organising meals (i’ve been taught how to make meals since a young age) . I have a great memory so if medication is needed i can provide it to them at required times. As i’ve been homeschooled for a while now i can be available during school hours/working hours . Overall i have a really bright and bubbly personality but can be stern when needed. Being trustworthy is perhaps one of the most important traits that a babysitter can have. Parents expect a babysitter to follow the rules of the household, keep the children safe and pay attention to their kids. Parents don't want a babysitter texting friends or inviting their boyfriend over to the house. I’ve had many experiences with kids as i’m one of the oldest of 5 siblings and basically brought them up . I have many children in my family from ages 0-11 that i have looked after and have grown to love children more and more . I understand the way they think and can deal with tantrums, hunger and just overall boredom . I’ve met so many beautiful families through babysitting and would love to continue meeting them . Although i’m young i promise i can be very reliable and trustworthy. I’ve been homeschooling since i was 13 and have found it was easier to balance school work and have a job at the same time so i can be available during school hours if needed .
