Zeinab Y.
I am a responsible, caring, and dependable individual with strong experience supporting and caring for children through tutoring, volunteering, and childcare roles. I am passionate about creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment where children feel secure, supported, and encouraged to develop both academically and personally. I have gained valuable experience through volunteering at Scouts, where I regularly assist in supervising children, supporting activities, and encouraging teamwork, confidence, and independence. This role has strengthened my leadership skills, patience, and ability to work well with children in both structured and active group settings. I also volunteered at a nursery, where I supported younger children with daily routines, play-based activities, and general care in a nurturing environment. This experience gave me a strong understanding of early childhood needs, communication, and the importance of providing attentive and consistent support. In addition, I have tutoring experience, helping children with their learning in a way that is clear, patient, and adapted to their individual needs. I focus on building confidence as well as academic understanding, aiming to make learning enjoyable and encouraging. Alongside my formal experience, I have significant practical experience caring for children and am confident managing responsibilities such as keeping children engaged, maintaining routines, and responding calmly and responsibly to different situations. I am often described as patient, trustworthy, organised, and approachable. I come from a family-oriented background and understand how important trust, communication, and reliability are when caring for children. In my free time, I enjoy reading, creative activities, and outdoor pursuits, which I often use to encourage children’s curiosity, creativity, and enjoyment. I take pride in being someone families can rely on, and I always aim to provide attentive care while supporting each child’s individual needs and wellbeing.
I currently volunteer as an adult leader for scouts( children from the ages 10-14). I have tutored gcse students and I have also volunteered at a nursery.
I have done my GCSES and A-levels. I am currently in my first year of university studying chemistry.
