I am currently working towards a sociology degree in my third year. I am hoping to go into a career with children after my studies and have been gaining experience for the last couple of years. In my personal life I like to be creative which has made working with children exciting as I’ve enjoyed doing crafts with kids and making art a fun and entertaining activity. I am also quite active which has made working in a primary school as a play worker particularly fun as I like to engage in games with children and can organise sports with them. I am currently able to be very flexible with my time and I am happy to work any hours as I currently work for a family of a 4 month old very irregularly :)

I have worked as a play worker in an after school club looking after up to 30 children between the ages of 3-12. Through this role I have completed a child protection course, infection prevention and control course and play training. I have experience babysitting for a family with 2 children while they were both under 5. I also have experience babysitting sitting a baby under 1 (from 4 months+). Here I was responsible for feeds, naps and changes.
