I’m Nila! I was born in the beautiful state of Kerala, India, but grew up in the bustling city of Bangalore until I turned 18. Both my parents are lawyers, which inspired me to pursue law as well. I have a younger sister who is currently studying in London. From tenth grade until my gap year — a total of three years — I have enjoyed tutoring children aged between 9 and 14 in subjects such as Science, Math, and Social Sciences. During the same period, I also worked as a babysitter, gaining valuable experience caring for kids, helping with homework, and organizing fun, educational activities. I have looked after several children aged between 6 and 14 years old. My main responsibilities included supervising the children’s safety, helping them with homework and school projects, preparing snacks, organizing educational and fun activities, and ensuring they had a positive and nurturing environment while their parents were away. At 17, I took a gap year before enrolling in university in Kolkata, where I studied law for five years. After graduating, I worked as a lawyer for a year. Recently, I moved to London to pursue my Master’s degree. I’m patient, responsible, and love working with children, making sure they feel safe and supported.
