I am looking for a confident and efficient home cook to support with meal preparation in a structured home environment.
The role includes:
- Preparing 2 balanced meals per shift (or equivalent batch cooking)
- Preparing juices/smoothies where required
- Following simple, clear recipes
This is a structured, task-based role with clear output expectations.
Recipes and instructions are provided; the focus is on:
- Efficient preparation
- Good organisation
- Completing meals within the shift
- Leaving the kitchen clean, organised and reset after use
Meals are varied for health and preference, drawing from different cultural influences.
The role requires someone comfortable preparing a range of dishes while maintaining pace, consistency, and quality.
Working Environment
This is a neurodivergent household with a busy routine.
The right person will:
- Be calm, respectful, and adaptable
- Have a practical understanding of working in a structured environment
- Be able to work independently without requiring ongoing direction
- Be comfortable working in a way that does not add disruption to the household

This role is not suited to someone who prefers a slow or highly creative cooking style.
Shifts & Trial: 1–3 shifts per week (depending on efficiency and fit), Initial 2-week trial period before moving to a regular arrangement.
Pay: £50–£80 per shift
(typically 2-4 hours, based on completion of standard task output within the shift)
