I come from the Isle of Skye since growing up in a rural area I am used to seeing animals and have grown a big love for them. I have grown up with lots of family pets such as dogs, cats, ducks, chickens and pigs! I love looking after them and would love to bring my passion to Glasgow! I am friendly and active and would love to offer dog walking when I can as I am also a uni student studying Gaidhlig. I am a Mexican student at Strathclyde University. Back in Mexico, I started rescuing abandoned dogs and a few years later, cats as well. I absolutely love them and am extremely patient with all kinds of pets. Every day, I miss my babies: Margaret, a senior Chihuahua; Tigre, an adult rescue dog whom I found when he was just three weeks old; Hypatia, a very unique and special cat; and Milovo, her brother who is the most peaceful cat. I took care of a house with 5 dogs and 8 cats in Mexico. In the evening, I took the small dogs for a walk and played with the big dogs using a ball. I also played with the cats using their toys and fed all of them at 10 pm. After that, I took them to their beds.

I have never had a professional job working with animals, but as I've mentioned before, I have been surrounded by them my whole life and have cared for many dogs. I once had three dogs and four cats at the same time. Currently, I have two dogs and two cats, with plans to add more in the future! I’ve never had a job dog walking or cat watching, only been given small amounts for it. I am very much experienced with both cats and dogs as i’ve been brought up around them my whole life and have had multiple cats and dogs at once. I have experience with elderly dogs too as my childhood dog lived for 17 years and in his last years became less active and quite poorly. I’ve always walked my family, friends and neighbours dogs and have often stayed overnight. I haven’t really watched other people’s cats but I’ve had 5 cats through my whole life so I know what to expect and how to keep them happy and healthy. I work as a full time dental nurse and love my job! Growing up my first job was working at the stables caring for the horses before I was very lucky to have my own. I still love to do horse riding even though I no longer have a horse and spend a lot of free time with my partner, family and friends and even looking after their pets and kids when they need a wee night off. I do not have any professional experience in caring for pets however, all my life I have had dogs, cats and even horses at one point. I would love to spend lots of time with the fur babies and would walk my dogs daily. Walking my dogs and family and friends dogs was the highlight of my day!
