I am a Mexican student at Strathclyde University. Back in Mexico, I started rescuing abandoned dogs and a few years later, cats as well. I absolutely love them and am extremely patient with all kinds of pets. Every day, I miss my babies: Margaret, a senior Chihuahua; Tigre, an adult rescue dog whom I found when he was just three weeks old; Hypatia, a very unique and special cat; and Milovo, her brother who is the most peaceful cat. I took care of a house with 5 dogs and 8 cats in Mexico. In the evening, I took the small dogs for a walk and played with the big dogs using a ball. I also played with the cats using their toys and fed all of them at 10 pm. After that, I took them to their beds.

I work as a full time dental nurse and love my job! Growing up my first job was working at the stables caring for the horses before I was very lucky to have my own. I still love to do horse riding even though I no longer have a horse and spend a lot of free time with my partner, family and friends and even looking after their pets and kids when they need a wee night off. I do not have any professional experience in caring for pets however, all my life I have had dogs, cats and even horses at one point. I have a one year old female pug. She is so much fun and gets on with all dogs she meets. I love spending time with her and my grandchildren. As previously written I spent a year caring for pets in my home enabling people to go away on holiday worry free! I also spent over 3 years volunteering at a local animal shelter, helping to care for stray dogs and cats, the main tasks I aided in were walking/exercising the dogs, basic grooming (brushing and sometimes bathing, nail clipping etc), feeding. I have also owned dogs for 11+ years, one of whom had extra needs at feeding time (she suffers from Megaesophagus). Animals are a passion of mine but as well as this I also enjoy walking & baking!
