My name is Gabriella I am 17 and I am a student studying level 3 extended animal management I am in my second and last year of this course so I have had experience caring for many animals that are housed within the college there is a range of animals including exotic species. In my first year, I completed a level 2 pet-sitting qualification which I have a certificate for. In July I went on a college expedition to South Africa where I got taught about game reserves and also did a bit of work alongside gamekeepers this experience was 2 weeks long where I went to 2 different game reserves. I have owned pets my whole life this includes cats, dogs, rats, a hamster and an axolotl. In college, I have to get complete work experience in my first year I worked at a cattery therefor I have experience caring for cats including giving oral medication.

I have experience working in a cattery where I carried out jobs like feeding, giving water, medicating, grooming (brushing), cleaning out pens (sweeping brushing & mopping) and litter trays and interacting with the cats for enrichment. I also do a animal management course where I look after animals that are housed within the college I also have had pets my whole life.
