I am a fit and able 60-year-old woman, recently retired after 39 years as a mental health nurse, mostly in a community setting. I have excellent communication and engagement skills. I have a sense of humor, and friends describe me as "upbeat." I am reliable, trustworthy, and dependable. I am DBS checked and registered. I would like companion/housekeeping or light personal care work. I am a dog lover and, therefore, cannot work long shifts. I don’t want to leave my dog at home for more than 4 hours. I have many interests and enjoy conversation. I believe that I can be very helpful in the right circumstances. I have my nursing training and experience, which adds to what I can provide, even though I do not actually want a nursing position. I am on the NMC register and subject to the code of conduct. I am an RN (Mental Health) recently retired and am looking for part-time work. I would like to work around 10-15 hours per week. I have vast experience and knowledge of mental health care, however, I am not looking for a qualified nursing position. I would like a housekeeping/companion/light personal care position.
