My journey into healthcare began at the young age of 12 when I assumed the role of a young carer for my mother. This early experience instilled in me a deep sense of compassion, responsibility, and resilience—qualities that continue to guide me today. Coming from a supportive family background, I understand the value of empathy and the importance of providing dignified, person-centred care. Building on that foundation, I pursued formal training and hands-on experience in the healthcare field. While studying at the university, I worked part-time as a Health Care Assistant, providing at-home care for a range of clients with a variety of needs. Over the recent years, I have worked with SEN children. I believe these experiences have helped develop strong skills in patient care, communication, and teamwork. I am passionate about supporting others through both physical and emotional challenges and take pride in contributing to the wellbeing of patients and their families. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active, practicing the ukulele, and painting. I have recently returned from a three-month trip, traveling around Thailand. My lived experience, combined with my professional training and caring nature, makes me a dedicated and reliable healthcare worker, committed to making a positive difference in the lives of others. I have 5+ years working in heathcare, ranging from working with people in their homes, to working with children both in their homes and school. I would like more experience ce working with adults.
