Carla J.
I’m originally from Portugal but living in UK since 2004. I’m a person who enjoy spending time with family and friends, love cooking, going out for a meal, walks in the park, watching series and movies. I started working as carer in 2016. I describe myself as caring, friendly and hard- working person. As a caring and reliable individual, I have a passion for supporting those who need it most and helping them to make the most of their lives. The smallest gesture can make a difference, so I try my best to be mindful and open to anything that is required of me. I’m able to provide all forms of personal care, administering Meds, cleaning, shopping, cooking balance meals, take clients to appointments, or going out to enjoy a meal, cinema, whatever they enjoy doing on a day out. I worked before with elderly people (experience in floor hoist, ceiling hoist, sliding sheets and catheter change), dementia, autism, learning disabilities, epilepsy and cerebral palsy, but I accept any challenges because makes me gain news skills to improve and grow as a carer and professional
I have experience in a variety of areas such as dementia, Parkinson's, old age, autism, end-of-life care, and learning disabilities over the past 10 years. I have provided clients with the necessary daily support to ensure their happiness, health, and safety.
