My name is Javeria and I'm a Birmingham-based Caregiver/Companion who is ready to bring comfort, support, and assistance into the lives of those who need it most. While I am yet to amass years of professional experience, my comprehensive caregiver education, capability to work full-time, and willingness to start immediately make me a strong candidate for a role as Personal Support Worker or Caregiver/Companion. One of my strengths lies in my hours of availability – I'm at your service every day of the week, from morning till night, in which is what is mainly needed for these roles. This flexible schedule allows me to provide assistance with a wide range of needs – from daily tasks such as assisting with walking and housekeeping to personal care duties like bathing and dressing. I am comfortable not only with a Live-Out but also with a Live-In arrangement and can lend my services across a variety of settings including clinics, hospitals, retirement homes, and home health care. In addition, I'm open to providing care for children with disabilities and have experience working with patients who have hearing impairment. Some of the duties that I am skilled at include patient positioning, assisting with heavy patient lifting & transfer, tube feeding, administering oxygen, and performing bed baths. Additionally, I have the ability to assist with recreational activities like planning visits, outings, and trips, and also perform tasks like grocery shopping and pet care.
