My name is Roxana. I have 12 long years of experience in the healthcare sector and I am brimming with empathy, passion and dedication. My aim is always to provide high-quality care and expert support to each individual I have the privilege of working with. In my professional journey, I have cared for patients with various diagnoses including, but not limited to, Diabetes, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Dementia, and Cancer. My commitment to my work as a caregiver is a testament to my continuous professional development, which encompasses a Bachelor's Degree, a Registered Nurse (RN) Certificate, and a Caregiver / Companion certification. I offer assistance in a wide range of activities, from walking, vacuuming, and handwashing dishes, to arranging visits, outings and trips for social interaction. I've been trained to assist with various medical and personal tasks such as tube feeding, patient positioning, lifts and transfers, catheter/colostomy care, bathing assistance, and offering a range of motion exercises. I am able to work in a variety of settings, including home health care, retirement homes, as well as clinics and hospitals. Be it a full-time or a part-time role, I look forward to proving my worth as a caregiver, companion, and personal support worker. I prefer living-out arrangements and would be open to providing assistance with pet care as well. I find great fulfilment in my ability to work with not only elderly individuals, but also children with disabilities. I am available during evenings and nights from Monday to Sunday and aim to begin providing care from the 28th of October, 2024 onwards.
