I am 17 years old and live in Nottingham with my mum, dad and 7 siblings. I have been homeschooled since I was in year 2, and so over the years have gained many skills which many people my age wouldn't have.
My youngest siblings are 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1, and I have helped my parents with taking care of them throughout their lives. Because of this I have developed excellent caretaking skills, and am good at working with young children.
Being homeschooled, I have had to study for my own exams independently. Using the knowledge I gain, I help to teach my other siblings, helping my brother to achieve an A* in his maths GCSE aged 12.
I'm very good at getting to know the people I work with, and doing things that I know will interest them specifically. I'm very patient and responsible, and am always happy to help others.
I am currently studying for my A-levels, and am planning to begin University in 2024. In my spare time, I like to read and play my guitar.
I have been homeschooled since 2013, and when studying for my own exams I have had to teach myself topics independently, as I have never had my own tutor.
I passed my maths GCSE with an A aged 12, and my maths A-level aged 15. Since then, I have helped tutor my brother and sister, with my brother passing his own maths GCSE also aged 12.
Maths has always been an easy topic for me, and I am very good at adapting to the person I am teaching and breaking down things in a way that they can understand.
