I am looking for a reliable person with experience working with children who have autism/PDA. I do not have a set number of hours that I require help as a sitter/nanny, but I would like to develop a rapport with an individual so I know my child is in safe hands. The duties will include overnight stays here and there, as well as the occasional evening for a few hours. My daughter is considered high functioning and is fluent in speech. She is potty trained and can identify when she needs the toilet. However, if she is not emotionally regulated, feels uncomfortable, anxious, or is having a PDA moment, she may have accidents. Therefore, you must be patient and pay attention to her facial expressions, as they are a big clue for when she needs the toilet. She is very chatty, full of life, girly, and always asking lots of questions. She has a bedtime routine and follows it well. We are seeking an experienced sitter to provide care for our child who has autism. The preferred start date for this position is immediate, with a schedule requiring availability on Sunday through Saturday in the evenings and nights. A driver's license is not required, as automobile use is not applicable. This is a part-time position, with less than 20 hours of work per week. Job responsibilities include light housekeeping and assisting with bathing and dressing the child. We are looking for a live-out nanny who has experience with autism and can provide compassionate care for our little one.

My husband and I have an 11-month-old baby girl, and we are staying at a nice hotel in Birmingham because we are going to a concert on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. We need a babysitter at the hotel for the baby from about 6-11:30 pm. This will include feeding dinner and bedtime routine. All baby gear will be provided. She is pretty easy and can be rocked to sleep if she does wake up after bedtime.

The chosen candidate will ideally possess a driver’s license along with their own car, as transportation of my three children becomes a part of the job responsibilities. The children are aged between six to nine years old and over ten years old, thus requiring a strong capacity to handle a variety of needs and schedules. This part-time vacancy involves the incumbent working less than 20 hours per week, specifically during the middle of the day from Monday to Friday. A key part of the role is to ensure safe and timely transportation of my children; this is where the requirement for a driver’s license and personal car comes into play. Given these responsibilities, and the schedule, it is important the nanny is able to commit to these hours and manage their time effectively.
