We're seeking a friendly, proactive nanny, with a keen interest in childcare and child development, to care for our two daughters aged 6 and 9. During term time, hours are approximately 17.5 per week, Monday to Friday. You would collect our children from school in Great Glen at 3 p.m., assist them with reading, homework and play activities, and manage some light meal prep until 6 p.m. However, fewer days can be considered depending on your availability.
We need closer to full-time hours for the approximately 18 weeks of school holidays, from 8.30am to 6pm, but the number of days per week from 3-5 and the number of weeks are negotiable. Our current nanny of 7 years would highly recommend the role.
If the working hours suit you, we are open to offering an annual salary for a consistent monthly income. This permanent position offers a gross hourly rate of £13 - £16, plus mileage and expenses, with a salary life managed by a payroll company who will also enrol you in a pension scheme.
This role, based in Tugby near Market Harborough and Uppingham, requires a car, clean driving licence and a suitable vehicle for school pick-ups. Previous experience as a nanny or similar is preferred but not essential. Ideal candidates should have excellent communication skills, be highly reliable, have a valid First Aid Certification (which we can help you update), and be DBS checked.
