My name is Alex, and I am a vibrant 21-year-old woman. I currently hold a renowned level 2 NVQ in Early Years Childcare, a qualification that denotes my abilities and skills in providing young children with a nurturing and educational environment.
As for my work experience, you'll find that I'm no stranger to working with children. I make a living working in a bustling and sizeable nursery. Our day-to-day routine involves engaging with and caring for children whose ages range from a young three months to the more mature age of five years. It's my responsibility and pleasure to ensure they are safe, enjoyed, and learning.
However, after considering my future and the direction I'd like my career to take, I've decided that I would like to transition to a more intimate childcare setting. It's with this in mind that I express my keen interest in a nannying job. My ideal location for this line of work would be in the Netley area or its nearby environments. This preference, I'm afraid, is due to limitations in my mobility as I currently don't drive.
I take pride in the extensive hands-on experience I've accumulated in my field. From the tender age of 16, possibly 17, I've been professionally engaged in childcare. That would amount to over four years of familiarity, dexterity, and practical knowledge.
When it comes to official credentials, I have valid DBS and first aid certifications. I'm more than equipped to handle any emergencies that may occur while I'm caring for your little ones. Moreover, outside my full-time job which requires me to work over 40 hours a week, I extend my passion for children into the community. I volunteer with my local scout group and have the responsibility and joy of being a squirrel leader, providing scouting activities for children aged 4 to 6 years.
Currently, my working hours are from the early morning at 7 to the late afternoon at 6, but I'm open to discussion and adjustments. I'm more than happy to take on the additional but equally important tasks of basic housework related to the children. Whether it's cooking nourishing dinners, ensuring they are clean and cosy from their baths, fostering their imagination with story readings, providing them with their bottles, or making sure they stick to your preferred sleep schedule, I'm up for the task. I understand the value and impact of these duties in a child’s life.
Furthermore, I'm comfortable with working around any SEND children or pets you have in your household.
Should you require any more detailed information about me, my experience or my credentials, please feel free to contact me. I'm more than happy to provide additional details.
I eagerly look forward to the chance to hear from you and hopefully make a positive impact on your children's lives and in your household.
