Ever since I was 16, I've found true joy in caring for children as a nanny and babysitter, making it over 4 years of working experience in this field now. I pride myself on being not just a caregiver but also a mentor and a tutor, assisting children with their homework is something I truly revel in. I hold a Bachelor's Degree and a GCSE in Childcare, and I have also gathered invaluable experience while working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school, and in a trainee English teacher at a secondary school. I'm appreciative of literature and the arts, and often partake in hobbies like reading, writing, knitting, painting and sculpting. Night time storytelling is one of my favorite methods to help the children unwind from their day. I am currently available for full-time employment and am flexible with my schedule throughout the week, being available for morning, mid-day, evening, and night shifts. I am comfortable working with a maximum of three children, ranging from newborns to teenagers. I will gladly carry out various duties including helping with homework, light housekeeping, running errands, grocery shopping, laundry, and meal preparation. I am also experienced and capable of working with children with disabilities. If you’re in need of a Nanny, Babysitter, Nanny/Tutor, or a Mother's Helper, I am ready and eager to start immediately. I am dedicated to ensuring that your kids feel safe, secure, and intellectually stimulated under my care. I have worked as a nanny and a babysitter for multiple families since I was 16. I grew up with a very big family, 6 siblings and lots of cousins so I’m used to helping out around little ones! I have many family members who work in residential care and schools, and I decided I was going to do the same. My grandmother works in a residential home for adults with Down syndrome and an aunt who fosters children with learning disabilities and additional needs. I’m currently a SEN teaching assistant, in a small village primary school. I l love my job and I’m really just looking to earn some extra income. I am open to a long term or short term position. I’m 24 and currently a SEN teaching assistant and have worked within several different environments including home nannying as well as my education setting. I have cared for children with autism and ADHD, and I have experience through my career as a TA, and through my personal experiences with autism, ADHD, SEMH, Foetal Alcohol Syndrome and Down Syndrome. I also grew up with 6 siblings (so I’m used to bottle feeding and nappy changing!) I have an enhanced DBS, safeguarding and certifications in caring for children in early years. I’m looking for afternoons evenings and I can also do Saturdays and potentially Sundays depending on flexibility and schedules.

I’m 18 years old living with my parents. I am taking a gap year after my A levels. I love looking after children so thought I’d make use of it during the summer and this next year. I am applying to drama school with hopes to attend next year. I love performing, I attend dance classes twice a week. I also love baking sweet treats and find it relaxing and entertaining in my spare time. I am bubbly, outgoing and talkative but can adapt to the needs and confidence of the child I am babysitting if for example they are fairly shy. I have been babysitting since 14 years old, and have absolutely loved it. I have looked after children from 4 to 11 (am open to children younger or older) and have babysat three children at one time. I have looked after children from many different families, for example putting them to bed making sure their routine is as standard, entertaining them with games and films (in accordance with what the parents allows e.g appropriate television), reassuring them if missing parents and cooking meals. Both GCSEs and A levels completed

I am an active person, I enjoy walking in my spare time and gardening. I am willing to do outdoor activities with children. I also really like reading with children and playing games. I am vegetarian and non smoker and do not drink, I like reading and learning and have completed many courses. I am into natural therapies and have done a lot of learning around this before. I am presently a mental health nurse looking for occasional evening babysitting and daytime childcare too, I am preferably looking for one day a week, can do daytimes or evenings and can do weekends if required. I prefer to work with 2 to 5 year olds and at present since August last year I have been helping a friend on a regular basis with a family of 4 - they are ages 1, 2, 4 and 5. I am able and used to looking after them all at once. So if somebody has a large family who needs care then I am ok with this. I have a degree in Psychology and Sociology which covered a lot about child development, I also covered this in child care at school. My hobbies are walking, dancing, reading, studying. I am enthusiastic and enjoy getting the children involved in indoor and outdoor games when involved in an assignment. My Experience 1986 to 1991 As a teenager I was babysitting for family friends 2 girls during on a regular basis who were 2 and 4 years old when I started, on occasion I would stay overnight and sometimes accompanied the family on their trips to the beach. Activities involved a lot of creative play and story reading. I did this for about 5 years. I also used to babysit for my neighbor who was 8 years old. 1987 to 1988 I had contact with a lot of children during this time during my Teacher Training Placement in an infant school 2009 to 2014 During this time I attended Summer School at a Romanian Orphanage to help look after children there of all ages, I attended the Orphanage for a week at a time and went there 5 times during 2009 to 2014. The activities undertaken were alsorts of different types of play with the children. A lot of them had learning difficulties and I found that I was able to engage very well with the children and to communicate with them in a variety of different ways. 2009 to present I helped my partner to bring up his granddaughter until she was 10 years old, I was regularly involved in helping to babysit. This child had stayed at my house in the past and I have been involved in her development at every stage. The main activities that I have been engaged with her over the last couple of years that I was involved with her were playing board games and role playing games as she requested, also reading and helping with maths and english homework. I had a very good relationship with this child. 2017 I worked with a 5 year old child with autism and communication difficulties who had challenging behaviour and who has been assessed as requiring 2:1 support. He was non verbal in his communication and so I had to learn how to best communicate with him. I had to help him at meal times plus bathing and personal care. I also took him out to the park. 2018 I spent some time working with two children ages 3 and 5; the older one having ADHD and autistic tendencies; he was highly energetic and had very challenging behaviour. I collected them from school and spent time playing with them for a couple of hours. 2019 I helped out with a boy of 8 years old who has autism, this was just for a short time. 2021 I was babysitting for 2 boys 6 and 7 years old in April 2021 for a few months - activities include playing games indoors and out and keeping them occupied plus putting them to bed. They enjoyed card games and board games, twister and another game which was quite active and football. I have 1st Aid Training and I have done a Cache 2 course in Autism in 2021, plus the ADHD and autism training offered on childcare.co.uk site plus child safeguarding. I have studied child psychology as part of my social sciences degree some years ago and am presently looking at various other courses. In my job as a nurse I have done behavioural family therapy training and I work as a carers lead at work, working closely with the families and running a Carer's Group. 2022 and 2023 I was helping out with 2 families over this time. One is a family of 4, the youngest was 5 with mild autism and the others teenagers. I stayed over for a few weekends and was there all weekend. Activities were card games, Lego, board games, art, reading and football. I helped the youngest to shower and bedtime routine. We once made play dough from flour mix and I did light cooking and cleaning up of the kitchen. The other family were 8 and 15 years old with autism, activities; light cooking occasionally, imaginary play, video games, dancing, and playing with dolls and putting to bed.

I am a responsible, caring, and highly experienced babysitter with a strong family-oriented background and a genuine passion for working with children. I grew up in Wiltshire as one of four siblings, which naturally developed my patience, adaptability, and confidence in caring for children of different ages and personalities. I am currently based in Nottingham during term time, where I am in my second year studying Criminology and Sociology at university, and I return to Wiltshire outside of term. My academic background includes attending Dauntsey’s School, where I studied Biology, Psychology, and English Literature at A level. This combination has given me a strong understanding of child development, behaviour, communication, and wellbeing, alongside excellent organisational and problem-solving skills. I am mature, reliable, and take my responsibilities very seriously, particularly when it comes to children’s safety and emotional needs. I have extensive hands-on experience working with children in a variety of settings. I have regularly babysat within my local village for families with up to four children at a time, with ages ranging from 3 to 11. I am confident managing routines such as mealtimes, bedtime, homework support, and structured play, while also ensuring children feel comfortable, happy, and secure. In addition, I worked at a stable yard where I taught young children how to ride horses and how to care for animals safely and responsibly. This role required patience, clear communication, and constant supervision, as well as the ability to make learning fun and engaging. I am a competitive horse rider and have been involved in horse riding my entire life, which has helped develop discipline, commitment, and a strong work ethic. I also enjoy going to the gym and maintaining an active, healthy lifestyle, which supports energetic and engaged childcare. In the summer of 2023, I volunteered at a Romanian orphanage, where I worked closely with children teaching basic healthcare routines, playing games, and leading arts and crafts activities. I have also completed a first aid course, including CPR training, at the age of 16. This experience, alongside my volunteering, has reinforced my calm and practical approach in challenging situations. I have always grown up with a variety of pets and am very comfortable caring for and being around animals. I am happy to help in households with pets and genuinely love working in environments where animals are part of the family. I have also been actively involved in fundraising for Romanian Nightingales Orphanage, participating in multiple charity events to support their work. I am friendly, calm, and approachable, and I pride myself on building trusting relationships with both parents and children. I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident leaving their children in safe hands, and I always aim to provide attentive, dependable care while creating a positive and nurturing environment where children can thrive. I have lots of experience babysitting, often babysitting for a family of three in my local village. I also previously worked at a stable yard which also worked directly with children, teaching them basic horse care and discipline. Through this i have learnt to deal with large groups of children in a fast moving atmosphere. I love animals too, so am always happy to help out with any pets as well as children. I also spent my 2023 summer working in a Romanian orphanage. I adored all the time i got to spend with the children, playing games with them, doing arts and crafts and also teaching healthcare to them. I love working with children and find it a very rewarding job.

I’m a friendly, reliable, and caring person currently studying Forensic Psychology at Nottingham Trent University. I’ve always enjoyed working with children and helping them learn and grow, which is why I’ve gained experience in both nursery and school settings, supporting children of all ages and abilities, including those with special educational needs. I come from a close-knit, supportive family where kindness, patience, and respect are really important values — qualities I bring into every babysitting job. I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident that their children are safe, happy, and well cared for, and I always aim to create a fun, nurturing environment built on trust. Outside of work, I love reading, crochet, music/musicals, and spending time outdoors — activities I also enjoy sharing with children through storytelling, creative projects, or nature walks. I’m also very interested in psychology and child development, which helps me understand different personalities and learning styles. People often describe me as calm, dependable, and easy to talk to. I take pride in being punctual, responsible, and able to stay composed in any situation. Whether helping with homework, playing games, or settling children for bed, I always focus on creating a positive experience where children feel secure and valued. I have hands-on experience working with children of all ages, including those with special educational needs. I’ve worked in both nursery and school settings, helping to create fun, safe, and engaging environments where children can learn and grow. At Treasure Nursery, I supported 2–3-year-olds through creative play, reading, and outdoor activities that encouraged language, social, and motor skill development. I also helped children with additional needs, providing one-to-one support and promoting positive behaviour through patience and encouragement. At Meadowhead School, I assisted children with learning and emotional challenges, running small group sessions and offering individual support to build confidence and communication skills. I’m passionate about creating a positive and nurturing space for every child, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and happy. Parents often describe me as reliable, calm under pressure, and great at building rapport with children. I’m currently studying Psychology (BSc Hons) at Nottingham Trent University, where I’m developing a strong understanding of human behaviour, communication, and child development — skills that support my work with children and families. Before university, I completed my A-Levels at Meadowhead Sixth Form in Sheffield, achieving grades in Psychology (C), Sociology (B), History (C), and an Extended Project Qualification (B). My studies have strengthened my empathy, patience, and ability to understand children’s emotional and social needs.
