I am a 55 year old mother of two and a grandmother of four aged between 2 and 11 years. I have nannying, babysitting, parenting, grandparenting, newborn and twins experience as well as over 12 years experience in the Health and Social Care sector. I have successfully gained: Level 3 Award in Preparing to Work in Home Based Childcare. Full Paediatric First Aid Certificate dated: 17th August 2024. Valid for three years. Certificate meets the full EYFS/DfE and Ofsted criteria for Early Years. TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Special Educational Needs and Disability. In addition, I have many skills which are transferable and continuing to learn new skills and gain further knowledge and qualifications in childcare. I am a hard-working, creative and mature person who loves spending time with my family, especially my grandchildren who are fun to be around. I love watching them grow and develop into their own individual self. I am also enjoying the opportunity to extend this outside of my family with being a Koru Kids nanny. Adults can inspire children but children can inspire adults too. The children of today are the adults of tomorrow. From January 2026, I returned to my academic studies with The Open University. My hope is to achieve a second degree. This will be on a part-time basis with the subject being in Psychology with Counselling.
