I haven’t been doing this as a job, I actually work as a manager in a high paced restaurant/bar, but when I was back in France I use to take care of a 3 years old, I would be with him from the afternoon and sometimes stay overnight, feeding him, playing with him, changing him, putting him to bed etc, this would be about 3 times a week for a few months until the mother found an other job. I absolutely loved taking care of him, and would love to do it as my everyday job as I’m looking for a change in my life/career

I absolutely love being a child care provider. It's such a rewarding job to be able to nurture and care for little ones. I make sure to create a safe and fun environment for them to learn and grow. I enjoy engaging them in creative activities, playing games, and helping them develop important life skills. It's truly a joy to be a part of their journey and see them thrive. My favourite part of this job is seeing the pure joy and excitement on the children's faces when they learn something new or accomplish a task. It's amazing to witness their growth and development firsthand. I also love the bond that forms between us as we spend time together, sharing laughter, stories, and creating memories. Being able to make a positive impact on their lives is truly fulfilling. There isn't much I dislike about being a child care provider. However, one challenge can be dealing with difficult behaviors or tantrums. It can be a bit challenging to handle those situations, but it's all part of the job. Thankfully, with patience, understanding, and effective communication, we can usually find a way to navigate through those moments and help the children learn and grow from them. Overall, the rewards far outweigh any minor challenges! Previously I have helped my disabled mother raise my two younger brothers at home, my responsibilities included getting them up in the mornings in order to get them ready and drop them off at school as well as nappy changes and food preparation, one of my favourite responsibilities during this time was putting them down for bed at night and reading their favourite stories.

I am 29 years old and moved to Manchester with my partner in 2019. I have 2 cats and a dog. I am currently working at a nursery in the Preschool room. I am starting a Masters in Psychology in September as I would like to specialise in Child Psychology in the future. I love to swim, draw, sing and dance! I love going for walks out in nature too.
