I have had many jobs throughout my life but I have always come back to care work.I am very easy to get on with.Very reliable & hard working.I love the Theatre, travelling, cooking & reading. I have worked in nursing homes & hospitals.In the last 16years I predominantly done private work .My last position was looking after a lady with dementia for 11years.

I am a pleasant personality that loves working with people. I have substantial report writing skills which has resulted in me being someone who pays attention to detail. I am also willing to use my numerical skills and ICT skills to capture data and ensure all important information is documented and communicated to superiors and related stakeholders. I have no formal experience. As a member of an extended Adrican family I have offered lots of care to friends and family. Any woman is a natural caregiver in Africa, especially when you are married you also help your inlaws. I love caring for the elderly, the sick, the vulnerable. I love contributing to the improved welfare of people. I love chatting with them and learning a lot from them whilst I am at it. With training, I am certain to be an efficient care giver.

For the past two years, I've gained valuable caregiving experience by assisting patients with hearing and speech impairments, diabetes, and dementia, managing task such as assisting with walking, vacuuming, washing dishes by hand, planning visits, outings, and trips to visit neighbours, friends, and family. Additionally, I'm proficient in housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, meal planning, preparation, bathroom cleaning, as well as assisting with pet care. I'm a certified caregiver and companion, bolstered by CPR and First Aid certifications, which enable me to respond effectively in emergencies. I am seeking a part-time role as a Personal Support Worker or Caregiver/Companion, ideally in a Home Health Care environment. I'm available mainly in the evenings and late nights, from Sunday to Friday. While I can immediately start offering my services, please note that I prefer a live-out arrangement and unfortunately, I am unable to work with children with disabilities.
