I have a dog on my own called Loki he is a King Charles cavalier spaniel dog, I often look after him quite a lot and I walk him nearly every day. I use to do dog walking for other people in my local area so I have some experience around dogs and loved it. I would love to carry on looking after dogs and making sure they’re well looked after in my care as dogs seem to love me quite a lot. I’ve only just recently thought about doing dog sitting as I love animals. When I did dog walking they absolutely loved me and would love that I was dog walking with them. I have travelled to over 12 countries on my own and have learned how to respect nature. I have always had a love and passion for animals. Since I was young I have had dogs, fish and a snake. I am not nervous around new animals, and always do my best to ensure that the animals I care for feel comfortable and loved. I have volunteered with dogs in Thailand spending a total of 20 days looking after 6 previously stray dogs on my own. I had to feed, walk, groom and care for their various illnesses and wounds (they picked up a lot of scratches in fights and around the jungle) I also volunteered in Malaysia looking after the dogs that lived at a hostel. I was expected to walk, feed and put the dogs securely in their beds at night to ensure their safety. It comes completely naturally to me to give my absolute best effort to caring for all animals. I have grown up with dogs my whole life, my last dog recently passed away and I would love to give that love to another pet. I had a snake when I was younger and I'm not scared or timid around reptiles or birds. In Thailand I spent 2 separate 10 day stints (20 days total) looking after 6 previously stray dogs in the jungle all by myself.
