I am a warm, people-centred professional with over seven years’ experience supporting individuals across educational and community settings. My background in Education has been built around helping people feel valued, connected, and supported whether through one-to-one guidance, group facilitation, or community engagement. I bring strong communication skills, patience, and a natural ability to build rapport with people of all ages. I have a genuine passion for supporting older adults, and I currently volunteer with Age UK as a Phone Friend, offering weekly companionship calls to reduce loneliness and provide emotional support. I also enjoy visiting elderly neighbours and helping to strengthen local community ties, which has deepened my understanding of the importance of dignity, kindness, and consistency in care. Living in Banbury, Oxfordshire, I have a supportive family life and love spending time with my husband and our black lab. Outside of work, I enjoy running, socialising with friends and family, hosting community activities such as an all girls book club, and contributing to a friendly, neighbourly atmosphere. I am known for being compassionate, reliable, and highly attentive. I take pride in creating positive, safe, and inclusive environments, whether I’m offering companionship, supporting daily routines, or providing conversation and emotional reassurance. I bring a calm, friendly presence and a genuine desire to make a meaningful difference in someone’s day-to-day life. I am now seeking a role in senior care where I can use my people skills, empathy, and community-focused nature to support individuals to live comfortably, confidently, and with dignity. I don't have any professional experience in this area. However, I have volunteered with Age UK as a phone companion and regularly conduct informal companion visits with elderly neighbors and grandparents. I enjoy spending time with elderly people, building a sense of community, and fighting the loneliness epidemic. I am looking to become more involved within the local community and make a difference.

I am 58 years old married with 2 grown up children and 2 grandchildren. I have a zest for life and love family time and like to have fun and enjoy life. If your struggling to keep on top of the housework then I am definitely the person you need. I am trustworthy, reliable and hard working and would love to help. From a cup of tea and chat or full household cleaning from top to bottom cleaning fridges, ovens, shopping, ironing, windows or anything else that may be needed. I can turn my hand to most things. Being a support worker I helped my residents cleaning their rooms from top to bottom and helped them with their washing and ironing. The communal areas and kitchen were also cleaned from top to bottom each day. My old boss used to say he could always tell when I had been on shift as it was so clean. I am a caring, hardworking, compassionate person and am sure that you would be pleased with anything that I do for you as, I do put 100% into everything I do. I have been a support worker for the last 2 to 3 years and this includes lots of housework helping residents with their rooms and keeping the home and kitchen clea at all times. I also cooked for the residents and did shopping for them when required . I am a fun living person with a good sense of humour and love nothing more than sprinkling a little sparkle and even the ironing.

I am a vivacious and compassionate individual, I go by Libby who cherishes family and personal interaction. Being a mother of four adult children, as well as having the joy of nine grandchildren, has gifted me a wellspring of personal experience that I find invaluable in my work as a caregiver. I have been sharing my life with my husband Alan for the last 40 years. For three decades, we lived in Southern California with stints in LA and San Diego, before venturing on a humanitarian journey in Ghana, West Africa, for half a decade. Our more recent place to call home is West London, Chiswick. Throughout my 22 years of working experience, I have shown particular expertise in home health care, including specifically for those diagnosed with diabetes and those undergoing dialysis. I am well-versed in various duties, such as range of motion exercise, planning visits, outings, and trips to visit neighbours, friends, and family, as well as meal planning and preparation. I also have experience in working with children with disabilities. As a health-conscious woman, I enjoy running and stand-up paddleboarding, as well as painting with watercolours and playing the cello. I pride myself on my ability to bring these bits of joy and passion to my work and to the individuals I care for. Currently, I am seeking a part-time, live-out position and my preferred start date is 04.05.2026. I am consistently available on weekdays during the mornings and middle of the day, making me a reliable choice for your family's needs. With a Bachelor's Degree under my belt, I am eager to apply my extensive experience as a caregiver or personal support worker for your loved ones. I have managed a US nonprofit 501 3(c) that helps vulnerable populations that I founded in 2004. (Todays Urban Renewal Network ) I don't always take a salary. I am a mother of 4 and a grandmother of 9. I cared for both my aging parents and I was a behavioral therapist, worked with children and adults with disabilities and autism and as primary school teacher before I raised my children. I was a certified natural childbirth educator and lactation consultant and a trained doula. My area of preference would be postpartum care.

I am an A-Level student who wishes to use their time and energy to care for others because I believe kindness and compassion can truly change someone’s day. I am someone who listens, notices the little things, and values making people feel seen and supported. For me, this is not just about helping with tasks, but about bringing comfort, companionship. I want to work in the field of care because I’m drawn to the idea of supporting people at times when it matters most. As a student, I spend a lot of time focused on my own future, but working in care gives me the chance to step outside of that and really focus on others. I find it inspiring to listen to people’s stories, learn from their experiences, and know that even simple things like being present, showing patience, or offering a smile can make a real difference. For me, caring is not just about providing help, it’s about building connections and creating moments of comfort and dignity that people truly deserve.
