I am seeking a conscientious and reliable Housekeeper to help manage a bustling household environment where both parents are busy full-time workers, often with one of us travelling. Our children engage in a multitude of activities and we also have a very friendly dog that sheds quite a bit. Responsibilities will include keeping all aspects of the house clean and tidy, handling laundry tasks, bed making, and kitchen cleaning duties (such as dishes, cleaning inside and outside of fridge, cupboards, oven, dishwasher, pantry, counters and floors).
While I am happy to provide direction and answer any queries you may have, it is crucial for the housekeeper to demonstrate initiative and work proactively without continuous supervision, as our schedule does not permit us to constantly oversee every detail.
Ideally, I need someone who is able to commit to a set time every week, but I'm open to discuss what time would be the most convenient for you. Given our past experiences, there will be a trial period to assess standards of service and reliability. We unfortunately have been disappointed before, so we need a little time to build trust anew. This is a pivotal part of our home arrangement, and we want to get it right.
The start date for this role is immediate. This is a part-time, live-out role requiring roughly 5 hours per week and there is flexibility as to when that is (not weekends).
Please note, a driver's license is not a prerequisite for this role. Additionally, having a vehicle isn't necessary as you will not need to for any part of the role. The focus of the work is primarily home and apartment cleaning.
