Ralphy, whom I adopted from a veterinary rescue center in Furjarah after making a promise to myself for my 60th birthday to do something that would change both mine and another's life for the better, had a significant impact on my life. My lovely Ralphy, a suspected 9-year-old Yorkie with only 3 teeth, changed the formula of my life. When we adopted another dog from the rescue center, Lulu, a blind poodle dachshund mix with a long body and little legs, Ralphy became her eyes from the day I brought her home. She completed our family balance. Patsi Petit Paws was a natural transition in giving and receiving. It was a boutique home from home care with 24hr human support. I worked as a field relocations consultant for corporates and their families moving to Dubai. Over a span of 10 years, I helped 1750 individuals get started in their new locations. The 30/45 roadmap and one-to-one support were times of building trust through my shared knowledge and experience. The support for when the extended family member was to arrive was a win-win without compromise for all. With a partner who worked in education from home, we maintained 24-hour support.
