I am a Mexican student at Strathclyde University. Back in Mexico, I started rescuing abandoned dogs and a few years later, cats as well. I absolutely love them and am extremely patient with all kinds of pets. Every day, I miss my babies: Margaret, a senior Chihuahua; Tigre, an adult rescue dog whom I found when he was just three weeks old; Hypatia, a very unique and special cat; and Milovo, her brother who is the most peaceful cat. I took care of a house with 5 dogs and 8 cats in Mexico. In the evening, I took the small dogs for a walk and played with the big dogs using a ball. I have never had a professional job working with animals, but as I've mentioned before, I have been surrounded by them my whole life and have cared for many dogs. I once had three dogs and four cats at the same time. Currently, I have two dogs and two cats, with plans to add more in the future! I’ve never had a job dog walking or cat watching, only been given small amounts for it. I am very much experienced with both cats and dogs as i’ve been brought up around them my whole life and have had multiple cats and dogs at once. I have experience with elderly dogs too as my childhood dog lived for 17 years and in his last years became less active and quite poorly. I’ve always walked my family, friends and neighbours dogs and have often stayed overnight. I haven’t really watched other people’s cats but I’ve had 5 cats through my whole life so I know what to expect and how to keep them happy and healthy.
